Sewer Connection Project

Problem: New commercial premises being built on land with no drainage for foul or storm water.

Answer: Existing drainage in highway identified and drain traced. The relevant permissions were obtained from the Highways Department and United Utilities. The existing sewer was exposed so that a new connection could be made. A new drain line was brought back into the site and a new manhole created into which all site drainage could be connected into. The excavation was backfilled and compacted, and the highway tarmaced so the job could be signed off.
